My experiences as a Team Leader have all been really positive. I had so much fun working with the kids. With the different groups and activities, every camp was amazing every single time!

When I decided to do a voluntary service year (BFD) at MyPlace after my A-levels, I already knew from a previous internship that I would enjoy working with children. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and from the very beginning there's a strong sense of trust within the team, which means you get to take on real responsibility early on. This helped me build a wonderful connection, both with the team and especially with the kids, that made the six months fly by.
